Liposuction is a cosmetic surgery procedure made to help healthy patients remove the excess pockets of fat around their body that is difficult to eliminate through diet and exercise alone. Our plastic surgeon, Dr. Schwartz, is able to remove fat from the face, neck, and body, and has been performing liposuction since 1997. We also offer liposuction with fat transfer (fat injections) for patients looking to return fullness to the face. For your convenience, Pasadena Surgical Arts provides tumescent liposuction and SmartLipo™ at our Pasadena surgery center.

Tumescent liposuction can be performed on both males and females, under either local or general anesthesia. We make sure the patient is comfortable throughout all stages of the surgery. There is very little pain involved during tumescent liposuction, and due to the lasting effect of the anesthetic solution, our patients have very little post-operative pain.

Our patients are able to walk out of from procedure with no side effects from general or local anesthesia and resume their normal activities within days of treatment.
