“We offer different versions of tummy tuck surgery depending on the indications of each individual patient. In many cases, there is a large amount of fat under the abdominal skin with loose skin in the area below the belly button. In this case, it is often possible to combine liposuction and removal of skin in a ‘lipo-tuck’ procedure that is much less extensive in terms of the flap raised than a standard tummy tuck.

“In other cases, a standard tummy tuck is indicated, and regardless of which procedure we are performing, we are meticulous about reconstructing the belly button and hiding the scar, as well as closing the lower incision in the most inconspicuous location in a meticulous fashion.”
